Privacy Policy

Last updated 3 June 2026 · Operated by Analytics AIML

This policy explains what information Escro collects, why, and what we do with it. Our approach is to collect as little as possible — enough to run the marketplace, settle escrow safely, and keep bad actors out.

1. What we collect

Account info: your email, display name, public handle, password (stored only as a secure hash), and optional bio/avatar.

Verification info: basic identity details where required (for higher-value transactions, disputes, or fraud checks). We do not collect or store bank or card numbers — settlement is in crypto.

Transaction info: your listings, orders, the escrow status and events, reviews, and — for crypto settlement — wallet addresses and on-chain transaction hashes (which are public on the blockchain by nature).

Technical info: standard logs (IP, device/browser, timestamps) needed for security and to operate the service.

2. Why we use it

To create and secure your account; to list products and run orders; to operate non-custodial escrow and resolve disputes; to send transactional emails (verification, password reset, escrow and sale notifications); to detect and prevent fraud, stolen-goods listings, and sanctioned/illegal activity; and to comply with applicable law. We use your basic info to verify you — not to verify any payment method.

3. What we do NOT do

We don’t sell your personal data. We don’t take custody of your funds, so we never hold your private keys or seed phrase — and you should never share them with us or anyone. We don’t send marketing spam; emails are about your account and transactions.

4. Who we share it with

Only what’s necessary, with: service providers that run the platform (hosting, email delivery, and — where used — wallet/on-ramp and identity-verification vendors); a counterparty in a transaction (your public handle, listing and review info; an arbiter sees order details during a dispute); and authorities where the law requires it or to investigate fraud/abuse. On-chain data (wallet addresses, transaction hashes) is inherently public on the blockchain and outside our control.

5. Cookies & sessions

We use a single secure, httpOnly session cookie to keep you logged in. We don’t run third-party advertising trackers.

6. Security

Passwords are hashed (bcrypt), sessions are signed, and private deliverables are gated so only the right buyer can access them after escrow completes. Crypto funds sit in escrow contracts/ledger entries, not a platform wallet. No system is perfectly secure, so use a strong, unique password and protect your own wallet.

7. Data retention

We keep account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, accounting, dispute, and anti-fraud purposes. You can ask us to delete your account; we’ll remove what we’re not legally required to retain. On-chain records cannot be deleted by anyone.

8. Your choices

You can view and edit your profile and payout wallet in Settings, and request a copy or deletion of your personal data by emailing us. Some records (e.g. completed-transaction logs) may be retained where the law requires.

9. International & jurisdiction

Escro is operated from Pakistan by Analytics AIML and serves users globally. By using Escro you understand your information may be processed in Pakistan and by our service providers elsewhere. We apply the protections in this policy regardless of where you are.

10. Changes & contact

We’ll post any updates here with a new “Last updated” date. For privacy questions or data requests: privacy@analyticsaiml.com.
